Fellow bloggers over at Chicago Hot Blog have posted about the , which will be held February 22-24 at McCormick Place.
Hosted by the International Kennel Club, the show will feature over 150 breeds of dogs, along with Junior Dog Judging (for kids 10-18) and the Puppy Spectacular. General admission is $16, seniors are $10, children under 12 are $3, and kids under 3 are free.

Acoustic Chicago will be hosting , an eco-friendly event to build awareness about the green efforts of the city of Chicago on February 20 at 7 pm.
Held at Joe’s Bar, this event includes art, music, dance, photography, film, and fashion in a gallery setting to promote the coming together of all the different art forms. All the artists involved are eco-conscious and have come together to promote the theme of “protecting the environment.”
Tickets are just $10 in advance and $12 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds going to an Illinois environmental charity.
