Shedd Aquarium’s new baby beluga whale
At 6:36 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 14, we welcomed Puiji’s calf into the Shedd family. Mom and calf are doing well. Members of our marine mammals and animal health staffs are monitoring the pair around the clock, watching for them to pass critical milestones in the next hours and days.
